Anthony Guerrée
Eyes on Talents member, French designer Anthony Guerrée, was invited by Jean-Pascal Morvidoni, of Les Marbreries de la Seine, to create an ensemble of marble pieces carved from fragments of Arabescato Fantastico marble that had been used several years earlier in a previous project for the Hôtel Crillon. A daybed, a chair, and a floorlamp: no drawings, no predefined form, only the dialogue between hands, materials, and trust. With this project, Anthony Guerrée, who became known notably for his Assises du temps perdu, inspired by the work of Marcel Proust, explores a raw, almost brutal creation. Entitled Symposion, the collection combines ancestral craftsmanship with a contemporary vision of the home, seeking to playfully blur the boundaries between design and art.
