Eternal Architects is a project of perception, inspired by the transformative works of Balenciaga, Escher, and Nolan. The project explores the illusion of continuity—focusing on pattern cutting and fabric manipulation, forming an infinite loop of movement and change.
To realise a silhouette, I empl
oyed a shadow folding technique, manipulating silk organza to form repeating, shifting shapes. Each element is hand-stitched—six panels composed of 13 rows of 25 shapes, over 2,000 small forms across five 2.5-meter lengths of fabric for the garment.
