Inspired by weaved birch bags of Northern European area, converting the technique to used straps of marine saving equipment.
Braided footwear from thin straps is already seen and kind of common. The aim was to test the technique out with a more demanding size - wide straps.

oading belt has good quality as strong, fast drying, mainly bendable, slightly stretching and has eye-catching character plus stunningly vibrant colour.
The straps seams are unraveled, no additional colouring added, 30minutes usual wash applied before using the straps. Boots are built up on a regular lest, soles attached with stitching, inner lining is ballerina shoe shape and stitched to the upper.
