For a 25-m2 appartment all available space is needed to accomodate essential living needs. At first the sleeping area was situated next to the kitchen on the floor, this was very space inefficient. By raising the bed to a higher level we designed a solution where the client can use all maximum space
available in their living space, whilst still having a comfortable and private sleeping area. Within this loft bed we created storage space, and a space-saving staircase for optimal space usage. Since this appartment is a rental we weren’t allowed to attach the lof tbed to the walls permanently; we therefore opted for a clean and stylish look using ratchet straps.
