GRAND PRIX INCLUSIVE DESIGN 2026

We are delighted to announce that the 1st Prize of the Grand Prix Inclusive Design 2026 has been awarded to Dr Silke Hofmann, Eyes on Talents member, for embrace3.

Alumni of the Central Saint Martins, the Royal College of Art and the Fashion Institute of Technology, now based in Berlin, Dr Silke Hofmann developed a custom-fit intimate apparel system for asymmetrical bodies, specifically responding to the lived experiences of people affected by breast cancer and torso asymmetries. Using 3D body scans and innovative additive surface textures, embrace3 creates personalised breast support while redefining the relationship between technology, comfort and care.

In partnership with Paris Good Fashion and APF France handicap, with the support of Zalando and awarded by an international jury at the Institut Français de la Mode, the project exemplifies the transformative power of inclusive design.
