This project explores inclusive design through a cross-body bag created for individuals with one arm. Many everyday bags require two hands to open and carry, creating challenges in daily life. This design focuses on improving independence, comfort, and ease of use.
The bag features an adjustable bel
t, buckle fastening, and zipper opening, allowing users to access and wear the bag using one hand. Made from waterproof nylon, the design is lightweight, durable, and suitable for everyday use in different weather conditions.
A foldable shopping bag is integrated inside the main bag, which can be easily removed and unfolded when needed. This allows users to carry additional items without managing multiple bags, supporting greater independence while shopping or travelling.
This project combines functionality and aesthetics, aiming to create a product that is both practical and expressive. The design supports independent movement while promoting a more inclusive approach to fashion and accessory design.
