Project developped during my Alta Moda master at Accademia costume e moda in collaboration with Swarovski.
This project has as its inspiration the Marchesa Luisa Casati Stampa, a legendary Italian noblewoman and art collector,
heiress, muse and eccentric who transformed herself into a living work of
art.
Wrapped in seductive and extravagant clothes, adorned with live snakes and cheetahs held by diamond leashes, she charmed the high society of the early 1900s.
She made Venice her own stage, wandering the streets at night wearing only enormous furs and sumptuous jewels. Taking the 1920s and its sensual and dark style as inspiration, this capsule collection aims to unite different types of crystals and pearls, thermoadhesives, beads and pendants, to recreate the same scenic look as the clothes
of the marquise.
