The work is originated from the spinal disease of me and my families diagnosed at the end of 2020, which I found by searching for information, was a disease with a high incidence worldwide.
I tried all types of medical instruments on the market during the physiotherapy process, and realized that doi
ng stretching exercises was more effective than relying on external medical equipment.Therefore, I have carried out a project with a theme of spinal disease prevention, in which technology and art were combined, The change of the wearer’s posture can also lead to new round of recreation. and was presented as an ornament to guide people to pay attention to daily stretching exercises. I also reflected on my own spinal problem during the project.
Contemporary ornaments enable us with a deeper understanding of the social and spiritual values carried by everything. Through the analysis of spine diseases, Ask Spine aims at guiding people to review modern life and professional habits, and further reflecting on the negative effects brought by science and technology.
