Gianni Sassi, born in Varese on September 8, 1938, was an eclectic intellectual and communicator. After spending his childhood between Varese and Belluno, he moved to Milan, where he
developed a strong interest in art. In 1965, he founded the publishing house ED912. In 1973, he created Cramps Records, an independent record label that revolutionized Italian music. Influenced by the Fluxus movement, Sassi combined graphic design, music, and communication, creating a new visual and sonic language. This book explores the authorial production of Gianni Sassi.
