In collaboration with the Red Cross, this project channels today’s ever-growing patterns of consumption into clothing. I explored the idea of an endless cycle by constructing each outfit entirely from discarded bags and other materials that evoke the imagery of recycling. These pieces transform the “
bag” itself—from carrier of goods to wearable garment—so the wearer becomes both the bag and the idea of the bag, a living emblem of continual use and reuse.
