Studio poirier bailay

Eyes on Talents member, Studio poirier bailay, joined Les Ateliers de Paris at the start of September. Trained at École Boulle and ENSCI – Les Ateliers, Pauline Bailay, textile designer, and Hugo Poirier, product designer, founded Studio poirier bailay in 2018, where they develop objects and furniture. Playing with the blurred line between art and design, the duo explores the decorative and sculptural dimensions of objects and asserts a colorful, joyful, and festive universe. The duo collaborates with French artisans and companies and, favoring limited production runs or one-of-a-kind pieces, is committed to promoting the materials and expertise that shape their objects. The combination of their festive and colorful universe with the preciousness of Diane Diebold's knotting expertise has, for example, given rise to the Fireworksseries of vases decorated with different textile adornments. To immerse yourself in their work, an interview with the creative duo by Christopher Dessus can be found in the second issue of JTM magazine.
