Pablo Bras

Eyes on Talents member, designer Pablo Bras, presents Hors Saison at the Fondation d’entreprise Martell, a carte blanche born of a residency at the foundation. Circular exploration of the phenomena at play, his project questions the ability of design to organize the invisible flows of air, light and heat to become genuine design materials, both on the scale of the object and the habitat. Channeling the thermal and energetic forces of the exhibition space, the designer presents an arrangement of rooms that constitute a fluid environment responsive to the three seasons that his installation traverses.
For several years, Pablo Bras has been conducting careful research into natural and artificial phenomena within the home, focusing on the issue of energy. His approach moves from space to object, without any real distinction between the two, designing objects that interact with their environments and the situations in which they are used.
