I can be inspired by paintings, photographs, music… I like to get people's opinion on my work and ideas, and actually that is what helped me to evolve so far. I usually like to work within a team because sharing is one of the most important thing for me, that’s why I usually get along really quickly with the people I meet. Although sharing and getting the opinion of others matters to my work, I know when it is time for me to make the final call. I am a confident person and I have a strong will, and that is why I see critics as an incentive to do better rather than a liability.
I like working with masculine shapes and turning it into something more feminine. If I had to fit into a box, I would say I am more of a minimalist but I enjoy working on details and embellishments such as embroidery. I like it when you don’t exactly know what you see because of how the fabric reacts to the light. You can't tell if it is skin, a breast, like a trompe l’oeil. I guess that’s why there will always be transparency in my work.
